It took a while for my mojo to kick in but then I had some simple fun putting this layout together.
Finally, I scrapped my Happy Mother's Day photo.
I just have to tell you about the swirly hand stitching. I decided on a nice blood red but then I got about 3/5 of the way through and it ran out. Completely. I then had a choice - wait until I could get some more thread of the same colour or be a bit creative.
I chose the latter. I took one strand of thread slightly darker than the blood red and one strand of thread slightly lighter than the blood red and VOILA!!! Not even I can tell the difference and I did it!!!
