Snowflakes

Many years ago I found this website that showed how to fold paper to make snowflakes. Today, I decided to do it again including the younger kids who had never done it before (or couldn't remember having done it) and an older kid who couldn't resist having a go.

Snowflakes are amazing. Here are some links that I found all those years ago.
A little scientific explanation about snowflakes and snow crystals.
A snow crystal gallery
How to make snowflakes with a lot of links down the side.

PS: I really can't handle seeing 8-pointed snowflakes in winter decorations.

Aw, it makes my heart feel all warm and fuzzy knowing I contributed to that creation! Nicely hung!

It's time to make some more, methinks. I've chosen the spot to hang them too.
